Load Balancing 2 Exch 2007 CA Servers with ISA 2006
Microsoft recommends load balancing CA servers using ISA 2006. Iam trying to find some help or reference material to figure out how I can load balance 2 Exchange 2007 Client Access Servers using ISA 2006. Here is the situation: We have 2 CA servers lets call it CA01 and CA02 in the same subnet. I have setup split DNS so that both Intranet and Internet users can access the published Exchange through mail.XYZ.com. Questions: How can I setup load balancing for both servers so that mail.XYZ.com will direct requests to either CA01 or CA02? How many Trusted Certificates should I get. Can I use a single exportable certificate with multiple Subject Alternative Names (Example: CA01.XYZ.org, CA02.XYZ.org, etc.) and install the certificate on both CA servers and ISA server? Or do I need to buy 2 distinct Certificates? In ISA 2006, I create a web farm, and then create a listner, what certificate do I associate the listner? Can I associate the listner to two certificates? Any help in pointing me to some documentation or any other help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike Momjian
