Live Meeting meeting invites contain links that are no longer accurate.

I inherited an OCS 2007 R2 environment (yes, I know it needs to be updated) that is currently sending meeting invites with links that are no longer valid for the install portion.

The meeting invite section says:

Make sure the Office Live Meeting client is installed before the meeting:

The links point to:  http://r.office.microsoft.com/r/rlidOCSR2?clid=1033&p1=livemeeting

Which is no longer available.

I have found a current site: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Download-the-Microsoft-Office-Live-Meeting-2007-client-8a432d04-45ac-4762-8e7f-e715dcd0f167?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

How/where do I update the meeting invite information in my on-premise OCS 2007 R2 environment?

I have the same question. Were you able to find an answer for this?

Not yet, I think Microsoft has abandoned this forum along with this version of the software.

I found where you make this change:

1. log onto your OCS server (ours is called ocsweb)

2. open Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2

3. expand Forest

a. expand Enterprise pools

i. right click on your pool (ours is called ocspool) and select Properties > Web Component Properties

ii. select the meeting invitations tabs

this is where you change the URL. however, i am not sure what to change it to. does this help? what are your thoughts on what to change the URL to?

for external, ours currently says:
http://r.office.microsoft.com/r/rlidOCSR2?clid=1033&p1=livemeeting

however this redirects to the support.microsoft.com page that says "sorry..."

more info:

1. the Join the meeting link only works in Outlook. i was testing from the outside using gmail

2. i replaced the dead links in the post above

old: http://r.office.microsoft.com/r/rlidOCSR2?clid=1033&p1=livemeeting

new: https://www150.livemeeting.com/cc/microsoft/join?id=MEETING&role=present&pw=ABCDEFG

this actually opens a live meeting page. however, it does not auto-fill with the correct info. the URL has the id has MEETING and the password as ABCDEFG and thats what gets auto-filled. i am wondering what the URL should look like for it to grab the correct meeting info and replace it in the URL.

still researching. let me know if this helps and if you have any input.
