Listing groups and ressources in GAL (Address book)
hi there it's me again. still on the concept. at the moment, in our company we create users, groups and ressources as their name is. now our GAL looks like: Japan_Staff John Lennon Mars (Meetingroom) Poland_Staff Roberto Cavalli Steeve Jobs Uranus (Meetingroom) USA_Staff Everything is mixed up and there is no grouping. Now i thought about grouping the categories. for example, all Groups should get a "#" in front of the name and be sorted with %country%_Staff, like #USA_Staff. The meeting rooms will get a ".", like .Uranus and the staff will then be listet at the end. what do you think about naming solutions like this? what are your best practices with this theme? thanks for input, uerueluem

You could, but remember the GAL is a collection of all the objects. If you want to view just specific subsets of the GAL use address lists. THere are already some built-in ones - All Rooms, All Groups etc... Or create your own: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232119(EXCHG.80).aspx Understanding Address Lists
