Link Data from Visio to Excel

I am looking to link data from excel (Microsoft office professional plus 2010) to Visio 2007.  Is this able to be completed or do I need to have visio professional.

thanks

I don't know what you mean. This is a forum for the Visual Basic .Net language.

You don't really provide any information on what you mean or whether you are trying to write a VB.Net application in order to do whatever you mean.

Perhaps you should try a Microsoft Visio forum if there is one. Or Microsoft Office forum. Or at least provide some in depth detail into what "link data" means.

Hello,

Since this is a Visio specific question I am moving this question to a visio form.

Is this similar to what you looking for:

Demo: Show it like it is: Connect data to your Visio diagram

As Mr.Monkeyboy mentioned you may need to take your question to office forum for a better assistane:

Visio can export information to Excel using the Database Wizard. It's not a very friendly mechanism in that it is literally a dump of shape data, but it can be done. Obviously the use of custom code can provide a more focused process.

Hi,

I agree with AL, we can integrate Visio and Excel with both of building-in Database Wizard and custom code.

Here are some sample and video, we can refer to:
