Limiting the users so that they can't send mails to external..
Hi,I have a specific situation where I have added some IP address so that they can relay mail to exchange users. I have done so by creating a new receive connector on our HUB server. Now I want that the mails send from these ips or senders is only acceptable to internal users only. They cannot send mails to external mail servers. Is it possible and if yes then how.....Thanks.

You will have to create one internal Recv Connector and add those ip's in the remote servers section. so that mails can be relayed internally. and in permission Group you need to set the anonymous group thats all i guess. Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Hi, I have already created transport rules but somehow they are not working. I am checking why....... And thats why i asked whether i was doing this thing wrongly. But as you suggested that it can be achieved through transport rule i will again check whether I have created the rule incorrectly... Thanks.
