Legacy Exchange DN Issues
We migrated from Exchange 2003 to 2007 last year. Working on some contact issues and found something I didn't expect. New contacts and users are being stamped with the LegacyExchangeDN from Exchange 2003. I thought these would be updated to the new value. Should new objects still be stamped with the 2003 LegacyExchangDN?

Hi, Where did you create the new users or contacts? If you create the object in the Exchange 2003, it will use the original LegacyExchangeDN. If you create it in the Exchange 2003, it should use the new LegacyExchangeDN. But for the migrated users, the LegacyExchangeDN will not be changed within the same organization. Hi, New LegacyExchangeDN was not populated on new objects because these objects were not processed by System Policy (Mail-Enabled Recipient Policy). New recipient objects were skipped during the Recipient Update Services’ call to process new recipient. To resolve this issue, Correct the filter in the “Mail-Enabled Recipient Policy” Please see my an other thread for similar issue: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/fdee2de1-002e-48ad-b476-15416ea1fcf9/ Anil
