hi

i have on my lab network the following VMs: AD (192.168.14.10 internal network), Exchange server 2010 Hub Transport, Mailbox and Client access server (192.168.14.11 internal network) and Edge transport server (ip assigned by DHCP and connected to the internet).
i have opened all the required ports and ran on the Edge server : New-Edge Subscription -Filename "c:\EdgeSubscription.xml" and imported the file to the HTS but whenever i run the Test-EdgeSynchronization i get the above error, any help would be appreciated. katlego

Hi,
Place the Manual IP on your Edge server.
Set the FQDN name as per your infrastructure : EDGEserver.domain.com
Ensure below ports are enable, you can test it by establishing the session using Telnet.

LDAP: Port 50389/TCPSecure LDAP: Port 50636/UDPSMTP: Port 25/TCP
