I am having an issue with my exchange server. I am getting an error message in the event log. Event ID 4 The kerberos client recieved a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server (clientcomputer1). The targetname used wascifs/(clientcomputer2.domain.name) This indicates that the password used to encrypt the kerberos service ticketis different that that on the target server. Commomly, this is due to identically namedmachine accounts in the target realm(domain.name), and the client realm. Please contactyour system administrator. This is all good and dandy but the computers are named 2 completely different computer names. in fact the client computer one is a brand new machine that was just recenlty ghosted, ghostwalk and then added to domain. the ghost image is completely different ghost images clientcomputer2 is not even part of the domain anymore but the computer name is still sitting in the A.D. This error is poping up all the time but this is the most recent version of it. Any help would be most greatful.
