I have installed Microsoft Office onto my laptop. I have the product key. I am able to use everything except publisher. It keeps prompting me to enter the product key so I do and still doesn't work.

This can be caused by using a mis-matched key/product.
e.g. Some computers ship with a pre-loaded Office edition which includes extra features like Publisher. If you purchase a lower edition product license, they key for that lower edition product license cannot activate features of higher edition products.

Which edition product license did you purchase?
