KMS error code: 0XC004F050

Hi,

We have one RDS Session Host server with Office standard 2013.
All office applications keep crashing 5-10 minutes after starting one. It freezes for about 5-15 minutes, then it starts working again.
If you keep the office applications active after it froze, It doesn't happen again. If you close the applications and restart them, the same problem occurs.

When we go to details of the process it shows that the office application is waiting for SPPSVC.EXE

After I installed a KMS-host on a second server in the network, it seems to happen less frequent, but it still does.
When I use OSPP.VBS /inpkey on the RDS it gives the error: ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service reported that the product key is invalid.

If I use the same command on another server in the network it shows: Product activation successful.

It seems as if a port is blocked on our RDS or something, but I can't find which.
Does anyone have any idea?

0XC004F050 = The product key is invalid.
This usually means: the product key you have input, does not match the product currently installed.

Is this RDS-SH also a KMShost ?
On this RDS-SH, did you use KMSclient pkey for Windows ?
On this RDS-SH, did you use KMSclient pkey for Office2013 Standard?
Maybe try MAK pkey for Office2013 Standard?

(I am not personally familiar with Office2013 on RDS-SH, so I have no first-hand experience with the best combination to use)

The RDS-SH is indeed a KMShost aswell.
The Windows itself has a MAK Key and is not activated as KMS.
Yes, the KMSclient pkey is for Office2013 Standard.
We had the same problem with office freezing before we switched to KMS, with MAK it froze aswell. Since KMS it does seem to happen less often.
