Proofpoint (our email archive vendor) says we need kb978871 for exchange 2010. i tried to get it from microsoft, but they cant find it, and i asked the support guy to search on other related items as described in other posts on this site. It does appear that this fix is in SP1 for exchange, but i am not ready to install it due to all the problems i have read about, and the Proofpoint system doesnt support SP1 yet. can someone help???

For Interim Updates you need to contact Microsoft support. as i said, i tried that. they could not find anything!!! i will try to call them again...
