Journal Account is unable to open the Mailbox becuase its too large
Hello All,
We have a message archiver that pulls emails from our journal account. However several months ago it stopped deleting mail out of the journal acocunt mailbox and now it has grown to over 50GB... the problem is that we need the e-mails that are
in that acocunt. What is the best way to get the emails out of the system. I am currently attempting to export to a pst throught the EMC.
Wo got this error last night that caused us to investigate.
"Exchange store 'Executives Storage Group\ExecutivesDB-1': The logical size of this database (the logical size equals the physical size of the .edb file minus the logical free space)
is 250 GB. This database size has exceeded the size limit of 250 GB.
This database will be dismounted immediately. "

Mitch, the link that ManU provided should hopefully do the trick for you, however if not you may want to take a copy of the Journal EDB offline and use Lucid8's DigiScope
http://www.lucid8.com/product/digiscope.asp to extract the required data

Hi,
ManU’s suggestion is worth to perform. Meanwhile, if you would like to export the mailbox data, I would like to share you the following article to export data
via cmdlet.

Hope this helps.
