It is taking a long time for the Exchange Management Console to load
Hi, I have an exchange 2007 organization deployed in a single domain environment. RU 5 is installed on all the exchange servers. I just started having this problem - it is taking a long time for EMC to load. I found this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947573 but it doesnt apply to me as i already mentioned that I have a single domain environment with RU5 installed. Everything was working fine until i started having this problem just recently. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Actually, even after taking all this time the snap in doesnt open successfully. I get this message: The snap in isn't responding http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/3928/snapin.jpg

Well, RU5 is pretty old. I would get SP2 Rollup 1 installed as a first step. ( SP2 first, then RU1).

thanks for the reply. but as i mentioned, it was working great until recently. That's why I don't think it's Service pack or Rollup issue.

But it could be a Windows update, yes? Or a configuration change made somewhere? Either way, its always best to ensure Exchange is running the latest updates and fully optimized to eliminate any possible issues there. There are alot of fixes in the product since SP1 RU5. :) And I would run ExBpa against the servers as well.

Thanks Frank for the link in your previous post. I was able to fix the issue. The solution: 1. Open Internet Explorer. 2. Open Tools -> Internet Options. 3. Select the "Advanced" tab. 4. Scroll down and un-check the box labeled "Check for publisher's certificate revocation". 5. Click OK. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/02003e14-0d88-48ab-b495-7f09fd5d6397/
