Recently, I have been receiving complaints from my Outlook 2007 users stating the following: when setting up a meeting as the Organizer, the meeting does not populate in the organizers calendar. the recipient receives a meeting request in the inbox, but not in their calendar. (usually the meeting request would populate the recipients calendar and the inbox even if the recipient did not respond to it yet. by design). after setting up a meeting, the organizer does get a response back from the recipient, but the response does not display whether he\she accepted\declined or attentive accept, when the organize looks in the calendar tracking. i have 2 exchange 2003 backend servers running the latest updates on windows server 2003, and all clients are running outlook 2007 on windows 2007 and windows XP Any ideas? Hi, Is this happening for all user or for some particular user, is the same issue is occurring when user is send meeting request from OWA, are these user using some phone devices to access there mail active sync or mail for exchange.Ripu Daman Mina | MCSE 2003 & MCSA Messaging

the issues are happening to a large number of users... they all have blackberry 9700's the OWA calendar entry reflect the same as outlook ... they are wirelessly synchronized with our BES, we do not use active syn or the desktop sync that comes with blackberry. now that you ask about smartphones, I must mention, we did have BES database corruption recently but i believe this happened after i started receiving complaints. about calendar issues. I really didnt think this issue would be related to BES, as the BES pulls info from exchange correct?.... thanks r davis

i believe i found the issue..... The cdo.dll's between the exchange servers and the bes server were not the same....... i had to copy a cdo from one of the exchange servers to the BES server... It has been about 8 hours since i updated the BES and not one problem yet.... thanks for the tips
