Dear All, As a prerequisite for Exchange 2010, I install office 2010 Filter Pack. And after installing Exchange 2010, I try to register as mentioned in the following link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee732397.aspx I used the Register Microsoft Filter Pack IFilters automatically, the result appear in the attached. Now, if all paths already exist, why we should do this registration? Thanks in advance *************************************Tom

Hi, With Exchange 2010 SP1, you don't need to register Ifilter pack. In Exchange 2010 SP1, Exchange Setup registers the IFilters from Office 2010 Filter Packs with Exchange Search Tis action in only done with Exchange 2010 RTM. Best regardsBest Regards Don't forget to mark it as answer if it helps
