Issue with mail merge printing.
I have had this complaint from more than 2 individuals. When creating a mail merge I can print from the preview page. When I continue to the edit individual rows screen I cant print. The printer is working I have tried printing other documents. There is confirmation that the document is being sent to the printer but it just sits there and doesn't print. Is there a glitch in a new update? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

May I know the detailed info about your Office version and printer device? Then, please the following methods and check they are helpful:

1) Upgrade the driver of printer

2) Try to set the printer driver spool settings to "Print Directly to Printer".

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
  2. Right-click the printer icon for your particular printer driver, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Details tab, and then click Spool Settings.
  4. Click to select Print Directly to Printer.
  5. Click OK twice.

3) Try to change the Graphics Mode from Vector to Raster.

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
  2. Right-click the printer icon for your particular printer driver, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Graphics tab.
  4. Under Graphics mode, select Use Raster Graphics, click Apply, and then click OK.

Hope it's helpful.
