Issue with Send on Behalf Exchange 2010

Hello,

I'm having a bizarre issue with a particular user I can't quite pinpoint what the issue is.  The user is having issues with sending on behalf of a user I have granted permission for this user to do so.  When she receives the undeliverable message it would read something like, "From: John Smith On Behalf Of John Smith" instead of something like "Jane Doe on Behalf of John Smith" in her sent folder.  I'm not quite sure why it reads user on behalf of the same user name.

What has made it more interesting is she is able to successfully and correctly send messages  on behalf of three other users.  She is only having the issue with one user and one distribution group.  The ones she is able to successfully send on behalf of would read like "Jane Doe on Behalf of John Smith".  I do not see off hand what is different about the user she is having issues with.

However, the accounts the user is having issues with, if I set up my account the same way I do not have issues with that account.  I am not added as sendonbehalfof for the distribution group but I am able to send for the distribution group (and so is others) regardless.  The user she is having issues with, I have to be granted permissions to send on behalf of, but when I do it works correctly.

I have double checked the permissions and each account is correctly granting sendonbehalf of permissions for this particular user.  I do not see any permissions set for 'Send As' as I wanted it to read Sent On Behalf.

*One thing I have noticed is this appears to be an issue with her workstation.  I had her log onto another workstation and everything seemed to work just  fine, but the issue persisted with her normal workstation.  Still not sure where to go with this.

Any assistance that would point me in the correct direction would be appreciated.

You could try a repair of her Outlook profile. If that doesn't it might be easier to just rebuild the Outlook profile from scratch rather than fixing an odd glitch.

Hi ,

In addition to the below suggestions , please have a look in to the below mentioned things.

1.Just try to send the email through owa and check the results ?

2.Then please clear the autocomplete cache and have the outlook profile on the online mode and also while sending the email please try to select the email address through GAL.

I mean to say for a checking purpose ,please don't use the offline address book and autocomplete cache address while sending the email instead choose the address via GAL
