Issue with Outlook 2010 on Exchange 2003
We use Exchange 2003 SP2 and we have a mix of Outlook 2003, 2007 & 2010. One of the OL 2010 user reported that he is unable to see the newly added users in his Outlook GAL. If we try downloading the OAB manually, it gets stuck up in the middle and doesnt download completly. However other OL 2010, 2007 & 2003 users are able to download OAB without any issues. There are no events generated on the server. The problematic Outlook 2010 has a build version of (14.0.5128.5000). The issue gets temporarily resolves when we recreates recreate the Outlook profile but again issue comes back. Could this be a bug with Outlook 2010? Has there been any fix developed for it? Hi, Since the issue only occurs on certain user mailbox who uses Outlook 2010, we can eliminate the Exchange server cause. Regarding to the issue, it can occur by incorrect system or Outlook settings. To troubleshoot the issue, please perform the following steps. 1. Temporarily disable firewall and antivirus program on the problematic machine, and then try to update OAB again. 2.
