Issue posting to an Exchange folder from Office 2007 programs
Good Day; I have a user who is trying to post documents to an Exchange 2003 server from Office 2007 (both Excel and Word) and when she does she receives an error and the program restarts and recovers the document. We have granted her all the proper rights on the server yet the transfer cause a major faux pas and being used to Office 2003, I am having problems navigating the programs to find a solution. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. K.

Based on your information, a user can't post documents to exchange folder by using office 07, but used to work with office 03, right? Please identify the following info for better troubleshooting: 1. The affected scope, does the issue just happen to this user? Others can post with same software condition (office 07)? 2. Office 2007 has been installed newly or upgraded from office 2003? 3. user's mail account type, POP3 or MAPI 4. please collect any error from event viewer by reproducing the issue 5. please post the detailed info about that error user received 6. Demo the steps about how user post a document, user cant post to public folder or mailbox? Basic troubleshooting: 1. Login the issued pc with admin account, create OL profile for admin, and test the post function. This can help to narrow down the cause. 2. Also you can let affected user to login a normal pc for testing. 3. Check if theres any size limitation related to this issue, is all file not able to post no matter what size they are?
