I want to allow my users to sign into Office 2013 that way they can access the different features, but I don't want them to be able to access their OneDrive. Is this possible. We are currently running Windows 7.

We may follow the steps below to restrict users from accessing OneDrive:

1. If you have not deploy the Office 2013 Administrative Template files, please download and install the templates first. For your information:

2. Press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type gpedit.msc and press Enter to open the group policy editor.

3. If you have successfully deployed the templates, you should be able to open User Configuration > Administrative Templates and see Microsoft Office 2013. Expanding that will see the templates for each product and office as a whole.

4. Expand User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Microsoft Office 2013 -> Miscellaneous.

5. Double-click Show OneDrive Sign In and set it to Disabled. Click OK.

6. Double-click Block signing into Office and set to Enabled.

- Choosing None Allowed will prevent Add a place from appearing in the backstage of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Choosing Org ID Only will prevent OneDrive from appearing in Add a Place in the backstage.

7. Run gpupdate /force to force an update of the Group Policy.

Hi,

We're trying to do the same, and following this guide does not help. When setting step number 6 to org id, both Sharepoint online and OneDrive appear in the open menu. If we set step 6 to none allowed  it works, but the our user cant activate there license, as the loginscreen is blank, any suggestions?
