Is there a way to conditiionall pull the data of a name range into another workbook

Hello everyone.

I have been searching for days with now succes on how to conditionally pull the data from one workbook1 to workbook2 with a named range, depending what data cell C4 contains in the workbook2. C4 would have the name range wich would be CHART, and that range is in another workbook from cell C3:F14. Is there a way a formula or a macro could paste that range onto workbook2?

Best regards. John

Hi John,

According to your description, my understanding is you want to copy the cells from workbook1 to workbook2 with data of the cell and customize name of cells.

But if you use formula to get the result it is difficult. Formula can only copy the cells, it cant copy the name you customization.

You have to rename the cells in workbook2. And if you wonder to know whether macros can help you, you can go to MSDN forum ask for helping.
