Is there a simple way to get a copy of meetings booked for a resource mailbox?
There must be an easy way to do this. I have equipment mailboxes for projectors. I am in charge of holding on to them and distributing them as needed. I do not need to manually approve or decline bookings. I just need a way to be notified when a user has booked the machine so I can drop it off to them. Of course I would like to be able to do this without constantly monitoring the calendar of the equipment mailbox. I would like to get an email that includes the name of the equipment mailbox so I know what projector it was and preferably a way to easily put that in my calendar; again with the name of the equipment mailbox so I remember what projector it is. I've tried just forwarding all messages using the EMC to me which works, but the problem is it does not tell me what equipment mailbox it is. We have several projectors and it would be nice to know. All it tells me is who is requesting it. I've also tried a rule on the equipment mailbox which forwards all messages to me which allows me to see what projector it is, but when I accept the meeting to add it to my calendar, again I am left with only the meeting organizer name. Thoughts on how to achieve what I want? Thanks!

Sorry I forgot to mention I am using Exchange 2007. Clients are a mix of Outlook 2007 and 2010 if that matters. Thanks again.

Hi, I think you can apply to get full-mailbox access permission of equipment mailboxes, add these mailboxes to your Outlook profile and then you will see these mailboxes in your Outlook. For granting full mailbox access permission, you can refer to the article ‘HOW TO: Grant Full Mailbox Access permission’. In your Outlook 2010, you need to add these mailboxes to your profile by File->Info->Add Account. Hope this helps. ThanksSophia Xu

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping though there was a way to do this without having to check the mailboxes in Outlook. I'd prefer they come to my inbox this way I would be able to get them on my phone, etc.
