Is possible to archive the exchange 2007 storage on an external iScsi storage
Hi,
I'm in order to deploy exchange server 2007 in a configuration where the storage will be located on an external unit (iomega StorCenter ix4-200d nas) that is able to support the iScsi protocoll.
Let me know if this configuration is supported?
Thanks many

You cant attach Exchange databases to NAS; i.e. your databases cannot be on a UNC path. However, iSCSI is a valid SAN (block) protocol. If the box you have can present a LUN over iSCSI (using the Microsoft iSCSI initiator for example) to the server youre
good to go and supported.
