Is it possible to have the webmail pull from a 2nd information store in the AD?
We are running Exchange 2003 (webmail enabled over SSL) on our primary mail server. I also have a second Exchange 2003server with several mailboxes that I need to have accessed through webmail. I can't seem to find any info on how to make this work. Any direction or info would be most appriciated. TIA Ooga

You have 2 options. 1. Set up a Front-end server and publish that as the webmail location. Front-end servers proxy the OWA requests and are able to access mailboxes on multiple mailbox servers. 2. Publish a separate A record in external DNS for the second Exchange server, and instruct users with mailboxes on that server that they have to access OWA by going to the new address. Create a firewall rule to publish the 2nd Exchange server as well. The first option is a better one, but may or may not be feasible in your situation. Just as a note, Front-end servers in Exchange 2003 can be Exchange Standard edition.

Thanks Ben... I figured as much on the 2nd choice. I'll look into the first option. Your direction was very helpful. *S* Ooga
