Is it possible to add a screen tip to a button in Excel?

I guess that pretty much says it.  I want to show the user the function of the button with a hover in the same way that a hyperlink does.

It makes me wonder if the caption of a button can be a hyperlink....

I hope this is an appropriate location to post this.  I was sent here from the Excel Forum in MS Community.

I wonder if one could create a null hyperlink (one that would do nothing when clicked) and then use the screen tip to show a comment.  If the text was (?) as a help tip for example, and no action was assigned then the screen tip would be there on hover and nothing would happen if the location was clicked.

HA! I just figured it out.  Use "Place in this document" then enter the same cell under which the hyperlink exists. Granted, not as elegant a tip attached to the button itself but it is simple.
