Is it possible to 'exempt' a specific mailbox from a Default Folder retention policy?
Is it possible to 'exempt' a specific mailbox from a Default Folder retention policy? Do I need to setup another storage group to accomplish this?

It's no possible way on Exchange 2003, but on Exchange 2007, it has the advanced Messaging Records Management, it allow apply Managed Folder Mailbox Policy to User Mailboxes. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996575(EXCHG.80).aspx -Jason

If Exchange 2003, then this would help you... How to exclude mailboxes from the Mailbox Manager process

Thanks Jason. This is just what I was looking for. It looks like, at least with Exchange 2007, you can apply a policy to any number of mailboxes or none if you like. I like the flexibility.
