Is it OK to remove all exchange active directory objects (following removal of exchange)
I hope this is the correct group for this Q, if not please advise.. I have cleanly removed the last exchange 2007 server from the domain (the organisation has moved to externally hosted exchange). However there is still quite a bit of exchange stuff in the AD. This inlcudes: From active directory: Microsoft Exchange System Objects (container) From ADSI edit I have: CN=Configuration,CN=Services,CN=Microsoft Exchange (and child objects) Is it OK to completely remove these entries and the child objects in them? regards roga

If you absolutely dont need them, yes. However, leaving them wont hurt you either. Note that all the schema changes will remain. Personally, I would leave them.
