Hi , Yes its part of Exchange but its a Value Added feature also if you want to block Spams from your network so you dont need to get Edge Server its not must even you can install this feature on your Hub Transport Server As well. For more details you can have a look at this also. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb201691.aspx Regards. If you have Forefront, I believe you can add ip addresses to the Rejected Mailhosts filter. It's not as good as rejecting them on the Edge server as the incoming message will be accepted but then treated as spam, but it's better than nothing. -Peter

Hi, How to Enable Anti-Spam Functionality on a Hub Transport Server http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb201691(EXCHG.80).aspx Connection filtering:Connection filtering inspects the IP address of the remote server that is trying to send messages to determine what action, if any, to take on an inbound message. The remote IP address is available to the Connection Filter agent as a byproduct of the underlying TCP/IP connection that is required for the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) session. Connection filtering uses a variety of IP Block lists, IP Allow lists, as well as IP Block Providers services or IP Allow Provider services to determine whether the connection from the specific IP should be blocked or should be allowed in the organization Thanks Allen
