Intstalling Exchange 2007
I am trying to install Exchange 2007 on a virtual machine that is running Mserver 2008. The wizzard takes me up to the actual installation (meaning that I have the .Net 2.0, etc... intalled already). I accept the terms of the license and the wizard begins "checking requirements". I get an error message that states "The type initializer for 'InstanceContext' threw an exception". I dont know what this is asking me to do, and I cannot get any further. Does anyone know what my next step is? Thanks!

Issue description: Got error info when you installed the exchange 2007 The type initializer for 'InstanceContext' threw an exception Collect info: 1. Please describe your current environment, only have one windows server 2008 in the domain? 2. Check exchange install log and application log for error info 3. Hows the setup.com /prepareAD Troubleshooting: 1. Ran "Netdom Query FSMO" on server to check the role, ensure exchange server has schema role since we will need it to extend the schema Notes: I assume you have all 5 roles in one spot since its a lab environment, right? 2. Also run Netdiag and DCdiag to check the issue 3. Try to run setup.com /PrepareAD /OrganizationName: <organization name> on the schema master, see if you got error
