Intersite Messaging isn't running on Exchanger Server
Dear Team,I'm working as a man-power some where, and yesterday the organization encountered a problem with DC and so with exchange server....etc. we restarted the servers and everything just come back to natural. but I have a service that doesn't start automatically, which is the intersite messaging service, this service is running only on domain controllers, but it's not running on exchange server. when i try to start this service, it says "Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion", now the question is: is this service important to be started on Exchange server? if so, how do i start it?Please Advise,,Thank You In Advance,Best Regards,

Hi, This service is only required by domain controllers to enable multiple transports to be used in inter-site messaging. It could not affect Exchange Server. Also, I recommend you to post the issue in Newsgroup for Windows Server to get it fix or manually start the service. Hi,It is not used by Exchange, but it is a AD related service. So disable this service will not affect Exchange Server. On the other side,we may need to keep DC in health status to avoid any unexpected issue. So I recommend you to ask for help in Newsgroup for AD.Regards,Xiu
