My daughter was on the computer last night. Magically it stopped working. When I hit the IE shortcut I get c:/program files/internet explorer/iexplorer.exe is not a valid win32 app.I tried to do a system restore and get the "Writter experienced a transient error 0x800423F3. So it doesnt work now either. Says to retry from a different restore point but that dont work either. So I tried to get updates just in case something screwy happened. Cannot get updates, code 80080005. I dont have Norton either. Could it be that she deleted something in IE or a file got corrupted, maybe a virus? Any help would be great.
