Interesting Problem
Here is my issue. I do not have direct access to the main exchange server and lets assume I cannot make any changes to it for now. Here is my situation. I am using Sugar Open Source and I have that connected to my exchange server. I then have the main exchange server with a rule to forward all emails that arrive at the support inbox to be forwarded to my exchange server, where I have a special account setup for those emails. Here is where it get's sticky. Every email that is automatically forwarded then shows up at my exchange server with the return address of support@whatever.com. This is a pretty big problem because as far as sugar is concerned all emails have come from support@whatever.com. This doesn't allow sugar to use it's full capacity. So my question is; using my exchange server how can I strip the support@whatever.com and reinstate the original from address? Please keep in mind that there is no way for me to sidestep this forwarding as of now I have no control over the main exchange server. Any help would be much appreciated.
