Insufficient Priviledges as Admin in Exchange 2010
I'm working on setting up an archival system with Exchange 2010. I was checking on some info on the Exchange Server and logged off of the machine. I came back later as the same user (Administrator, member of Domain Admins, Exchange Organization Administration, and Organization Management). Only this time when I went to check the properties of a mailbox there was only one tab and everything was blanked with the image of a lock on all the fields. There are also fewer slections in the left pane now. I'm not sure what occurred when I logged off of the server but whatever happened knocked the admin account out of whack.

Could be a bad Windows profile. If you use another Domain Admin account on the same server, what happens? Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources

Hi vashts, Any updates on your issue? Please open the EMC run as different user(administrator account) to test. Please check whether the Administrator can manage objects using ECP. And if possible, please install Management Tool on client computer to check the permission. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

Sorry for the long delay in response. I was needed on other issues with other clients and haven't gotten back to this (plus with an office move I got busy wiring up the Ethernet for the IP phone system). When I have an opportunity to check it out I'll look again.

Well, the problem seems to have resolved itself. I'm thinking it may have been something with the way I logged in or open the console. Not sure, but I once again have full access to the console and the mailboxes. Thank you, guys, for your time, though. It's very appreciated.
