Installing hotfixes on Exchange 2007
Hi Guys We are running Exchange 2003/2007 mixed mode. We have only test users on the Exchange 2007 system at the moment, and have the following servers: ExchCAS - CAS ExchHT ExchHT2 ExchMBX1ExchMBX2 Exchange MBX1 and MBX2 are virtual Exchange servers on an SCC Active/Active/Passive cluster. As you know, MS release update rollups, hotfixes etc for 2007. Is there a recommended order in which to install these? From Exchange 2003, I remember we were advised to install patches on the Front End server first etc. Thank you.

Are you planning on stretching the application of the hotfixes over a multi-day window? It is recommended that all Exchange servers be at the same patch level, but I wouldn't worry about the order in which they are applied.
