Installing exchange in a SUB Domain ..need help pls.
Need help pls. we are plaing a new exchange 2010 sp1 setup in our child domain(2008R2). The head domain(2008R2) does not have a mail server. I ran all commands on the head domain Setup.com /ps Setup.com /pl Setup.com /pd Setup.com /preparealldomains Setup.com /preparead When running the install Setup on the child domain, i keep getting MailboxDatabase errors. Hello, This error has several meaning: 1. Check your DNS setting if it correct between your Root and child domain. 2. Run the setup.com /pd with this parameter, setup.com /pd /dc:schema-root.domain.local. 3. Check your DC's replication. 4. If the installation created Public Folder Database delete this Public Folder. Hi, Please make your domain function level is 2003 or higher. Suggest to delete Public folder database from Adsiedit and done the DC replication Deleted the PF database from CN=Configuration--> CN=Services, CN=Microsoft Exchange, CN=OrgName, CN= Administrative Groups, CN=Exchange Administrative Group, CN= Databases. Hi, Please make your domain function level is 2003 or higher. Suggest to delete Public folder database from Adsiedit and done the DC replication Deleted the PF database from CN=Configuration--> CN=Services, CN=Microsoft Exchange, CN=OrgName, CN= Administrative Groups, CN=Exchange Administrative Group, CN= Databases.
