Need help pls. we are plaing a new exchange 2010 sp1 setup in our child domain(2008R2). The head domain(2008R2) does not have a mail server. Hello, This error has several meaning: 1. Check your DNS setting if it correct between your Root and child domain. 2. Run the setup.com /pd with this parameter, setup.com /pd /dc:schema-root.domain.local. 3. Check your DC's replication. 4. If the installation created Public Folder Database delete this Public Folder.
