Who would ever had thought this would even be an issue. but it is.

I am having trouble installing exchange 2013 in a SINGLE server 2012 PDC enviroment.

 Got through prerequisite checks and setup fails at mailbox role:cleint access service 

gave the cert the permissions it wanted and still failed.

This small of an environment does not justify multiple servers.

Is there any way to pull off an exchange 2013 install in a single PDC environment.

if not, what is the next easiest step.

In addition, we suggest you didnt install Exchange on Window server 2012 PDC,we could refer to the following link for reasons:
