Installing Exchange Management Tools 64 Bit on 2008 DC
Hi Guys,I am trying to install Exchange management tools 64Bit SP2 on a 2008 Enterprise server. Our Schema Master on Site A, where my DC is on site B so when I tried to install management tools it came with this error...----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Not in schema master site/domain Exchange 2007 setup requires the domain controller that serves as the domain schema master to be in the same site and domain as the local computer that is running Exchange setup. The domain schema master controls all updates and modifications to the Active Directory schema. To resolve this issue, run Exchange Server 2007 setup using the /prepareschema and /prepareAD switches from the same site and domain as the domain schema master. For more information about the /prepareschema and /prepareAD setup switches, see---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------What would you guys suggest me in this scenario?Regards, Gokhan Cil

Hi,Setup /PrepareSchema or Setup /ps must be run from a server in the same Active Directory site and domain as the schema master. Typically, the schema master role will be on a domain controller in the first domain created in the forest.Regards,Xiu
