Installing Exchange 2007 in a production Lotus environment.
I recently took a course on implementing Exchange 2007. During the course, the instructor repeatedly warned us not to install a test Exchange server into a production Lotus environment because Exchange would take over the mail flow and break Lotus. I still do not understand what he meant by this. Can anyone else shed light on this?Basically I would like to install Exchange 2007 in our Lotus environment and move a small subset of test users to Exchange. I understand that running parallel with a connector is one method of migrating.

Hi,I don't think that your instructoris correct. I can't see how installing an exchange server into a domino environment should break mail flow.It is however never a good idea to install a test server into a production environment. You should consider the exchange server you install a production server if you move mailboxes to it.Leif
