Installing Exchange 2007 after upgrading to Exchange 2010 in coexistance scenario
Currently our customer is using Exchange 2007. They are planning to upgrade Exchange 2010. In this case is it possible to install Exchange 2007 again in some other server.

I am not 100% sure, but i think you would be able to (as long as you not change the operation mode). But why would you need to?

Hi there,As long as you continue to have at least one Exchange 2007 Server, then you can add more even after you have deployed Exchange 2010.Once you remove the last Exchange 2007 Server is when you will be hard blocked and will not be able to add anymore.I hope this helps,OliverOliver Moazzezi | Exchange MVP, MCSA:M, MCTS:Exchange 2010, BA (Hons) Anim | http://www.exchange2007.com | http://www.exchange2010.com | http://www.cobweb.com |
