Installing EdgeServer on a Win Serv 2003 x86 server 32 bit
I am trying to install an Edge Server for Exchange 2007 on a Windows 2003 Std. server. It will not let me, why and how can I get it to work, I don't have a second 64bit server I can just sit in a DMZ for mail services. Thanks David

You can install Exchange 2007 on a 32bit windows machine. But then you need the 32 bit version of Exchange.Remmber that this is NOT supported in production.

I would have installed x64 on the system if it was supported. Now I have to go and buy new hardware and probably redo the network layout. What a pain.......

Please check your current processor. Intel and AMD are shipping servers for almost 3 years now that support x64 Just check your CPU it might just support x64 Deli

I have checked and it is not 64 bit capable. but thanks anyways. Looking into VMware or Xensource solution for the time being.

technically, though - this wouldn't be supported either: Support policy for Microsoft software running in non-Microsoft hardware virtualization software.
