Installation on Windows Server 2008 disables access to IIS7 Website
I have found that performing a Typical Exchange 2007 SP1Installation has caused access to IIS7 websites to be refused. A fresh installation of Windows Server 2008 was performed followed by installation of Exchange pre-requisites. Immediately prior to Exchange installation access was OK./ The Exchange Installation was performed and once completed an Internal Server Error message was generated when the website access was attempted. Following the initial system reboot the Server Error 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied. was generated. Any suggestions for resolving this would be appreciated.

OK so installation of Exchange would appear to set the SSL Required flag? Anyway unsetting the flag restores access to the site content. Will maybe perform another Windows Server 2008 install to check SSL Required flag status to confirm.
