Installation Error of Exg 2007 CCR in a tree domain to join Exg2003 Org running in another tree domain
Circumstance: Location A: One domain(abc.local) running on windows 2003 R2+SP2,Exchange 2003 Cluster running on windows 2003; Location B: Another domain(efg.local) within the same forest running on windows 2003 R2 +SP2, we need install the exchange 2007 Ent CCR in location B. Network: A ---MPLS ---B, Reliable network connection What we have done: - we have setup the individual domain tree in location B, and the replication has been done with Awithout errors. - Test successfully the connectivity and replica between abc.local and efg.local - we have setup the windows 2003 R2 + SP2 on the 2 nodes(named: node01, node02), and joined into the domain efg.local; - we have setup the windows 2003 R2 + SP2 on one server dedicated as Client Access Server (CAS), and this CAS has joined the domain efg.local; - we have finished the setting up of windows cluster + MNSFILESHARE, which shared folder resides on CAS server; - we have finished setup /preparead...domain...etc; and the efg.local\administrator is member of the Exchange organization administrators Group; Now we have problem when installing the exchange 2007 CCR 1. we install it thru Exchange 2k7 GUI, the first step is to check the "Preparation Condition", which passed but output some warning: "can not find the recipient update service in domain efg.local... " 2. Ignored this errors, we continued to setup. replication finished soon..andcontinued the second step to configure "Emailbox Role"; This takes quite long time (around 20 mins). From this time point on, the 1st errors appears in the event viewer: event id: 2501,2604, event source: MSExchange ADaccess 3. when the second step almost finished, many errors started to flow into the event viewer. The event ID is 1019, 1003,1030. The errors description say "Can not online the system attendant , information store "; 4. The last step of the installation failed. The error shows "either lack of resource or permission is not sufficient"; Finally we changed the "pending time" for system attendant instance in the windows cluster console, and tried to online it again. It works. However, this method does not apply to the "Informaiton Store" instance. Its status is "failure" and can not be online. Hopefully my explaination is clear, and anybody can help me? Thanks in advance JZ
