Like some other people, I'm unable to install Exchange 2007 due to AD problems. It seems to have problems finding the Domain Controller even though it is up and running fine. I already have Exchange 2003 running on a different machine. I ran the ExBPA checks and did not get any problems either. BPA is able to connect to my DC no problems and see that everything seems to be in order. Below is a snippet of the ExchangeSetup.log. You can see in it that my DC is "not available". DNS settings are fine, ping works, I am RDP'ing into it no problems, I don't see any particular messages in Event Viewer except for this: " The description for Event ID ( 2152 ) in Source ( MSExchange ADAccess ) cannot be found. Thanks a lot, that actually fixed my AD problems! I'm unable to progress to full instalation of E2007 right now, but will do so tonight. AD Scheme upgrade is still going, so I'm happy.
