When i install hub transport role, i received this error message. Exchange Server component Hub Transport Role failed. Error: Error:Property IsHubTransportServer cannot be set on this object because it requires the object to have version 0.1 (8.0.535.0) or later. Hello Roy, Are you trying to install Exchange 2007 on a server where Exchange 2003 server is/was installed? If yes then you can not install Exchange 2007 on existing Exchange 2003 server. If 2003 was installed earlier on the server then remove it from AD and try. Refer Remove the Exchange 2003 server from Active Directory in below KB and delete server object with Adsiedit.msc http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833396

Hi, i have the exact same problem. we have a win2k3 sp2 + e2k3 sp2 server, we want to move everything to a new box with win2k8 and e2k7 sp1. I did the /preparead, replicated fine, however when i try to install the HT role on the new box i get the same error.. I tried to uninstall it, then reinstall, run the prepad like 3 times again, i get the same error.. ipv6 is also enabled. If anyone have some ideas that would be great! Thanks!
