I have AD in one server(Windows enterprise sp2).For exchange i installed one more windows ent sp2 in another server and added to the domain(It's called member server).Then i tried to install Exchange Ent on that one.When i try to run domainprep I got error as "known compatibility issue with version of Windows".I did domainprep and forestprep in AD server.I think we suppose to run domain prep on second server.Not forestprep.Isn't it? For one of my another client i installed AD and Exchange on single server with the same source(CD) it worked fine. acekard

Hi, As you said you have single domain forest env, then just you have to run first "forestpre" and then domainprep using exchange 2003 media. Also it does not matter where you run both domainprep & forestprep as you have single domain model. You need to verify schema and attribute get created when run /forestprep and also see if any major event logged in eventlog.
