I am getting ready to install Exchange 2013 into my environment.  I already have Exchange 2010 running in hybrid mode with Office 365.

My question is can I just install Exchange 2013 CU9 as my first 2013 Exchange server, or do I need to first install Exchange 2013 SP1 and then upgrade that to CU9?

Each CU is a full install of the of the product.  As long as you meet the coexistence requirements (which you probably do since youre in hybrid mode) you can go straight to CU9.

Thank you very much.  That is what it looked like to me due to the file size and folder structure after extraction.  However, I didn't want to just go off my hunch when installing Exchange.
