Inspect VBA code, protected view

Hi

The protected view function seems to be a great way of reducing risks form malicious code.
However, it seems to me that I can't get to inspect the vba code when a file is in protected view.
The code modules are not visible in the vba editor.

Is there a way to see the vba code when protected view is active?

Hi,

As far as I know, no. The purpose of Protected View is to protect your computer from viruses, worms, or other kinds of malware that can harm your computer, as vba may do harm to computers too, it is still limited in Protected View. You will need to cancel the Protected View to check the result.
