Initialization Failed When Expand Exchange on-Premise error Message : Access is Denied
I've problem with my exchange 2010, when I open EMC then I expand Microsoft Exchange On-Premises I got error message Like below : Initialization Failed The Following error occurred while attempting to connect to the specified Exchange server 'myexchange.domain.co.id': the attempt to connect to http://myexchange.domain.co.id/PowerShell using "Kerberos" authentication failed: Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : Access is denied. For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help Topic. This problem occurred sometimes but can be a few days, it's so annoying because I can't update user in mailbox. I thought this could be from login domain authentication but when I checked from cmd by command "whoami" I got output if I was in domain\administrator area. Please help me to solved this problem.

Hi Ashish, Thanks for the link, but I think there is no relationship with WinRM and Microsoft Online services. I'm using Window Server 2008R2 with exchange 2010 installed, the problem when I open Exchange management console there is no issue, but when I expand Microsoft Exchange on-premise, error message appear that say : The Following error occurred while attempting to connect to the specified Exchange server 'myexchange.domain.co.id': the attempt to connect to http://myexchange.domain.co.id/PowerShell using "Kerberos" authentication failed: Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : Access is denied. For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help Topic. I tried to find kb at support.microsoft but nothing of kb is helpfull or seems just only me who have experience this problem. Hi, I had a similar error with Win2008R2 + Exchange 2010 and AVG. I installed the AVG standard antivirus and after that Exchange console was blocked out. After 2 days, I resolved uninstalling the antivirus because it implemented a local firewall that blocked communications between OS and Exchange. Maybe this could resolve your problem.

Hi Ashish, I tried your post but I am not facing WinRM problem. I am facing "Kerberos" authentication failed: Even I have checked all the other post as well. Shahid Jamal
