Initialization Failed

Hey guys a little help here. I know there is a lot of ones on this website similar to this but most are saying turn off time sync on the Hyper-V end and restart followed up with a net time /set and it fixes the issue. I also tried a IISReset. Well that has not worked for me. The Server is running on a Hyper-V environment with a on a Microsoft small business server 2011. When I open the Exchange management console or shell I get a Initialization Error,

Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message: access is denied. It was running the command 'Discover-ExchangeServer -UseWIA $true -SurpressError $true -CurrentVersion " Version 14.3 (Build 123.4)"'

Once again I tried the time sync settings and it didn't work. Any help would be truly appreciated as I am no longer able to access the manager and set-up emails.

Hi smedly,

Thank you for your question.

First of all, we make sure kerbauth and wsman are list in powershell by the following link:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff607221(v=exchg.80).aspx

If they are not listed, we could add them and restart IIS to check if the issue persist.

Then we could check if there are any errors in application log, then post those errors to ibsexc@microsoft.com for our troubleshooting.

There are a link for us to troubleshoot:

http://blogs.technet.com/b/richardroddy/archive/2010/10/06/even-more-exchange-2010-management-tools-fun.aspx

If the issue persist, run the following command then open EMC:

Netsh WinHttp Reset Proxy

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim
