Make sure that you do not try to register duplicate application URLs in the ApplicationHost.config or Web.config files. To resolve the duplication, determine which sites are using the same bindings. thanks for the help people. I decided to resetiis and just recreate the virtual directories since no users were on the server yet. I did get a message about duplicate bindings and that was the issue.

I have a 2010 exchange server that i cannot open the EMC or the EMS-i get a initialization error which mentions kerberos. I had ussed the IIS manager to bind the cert(from verisign) to ther default website for ActiveSync but after doing that i can no longer open the console.
